Why do I need to set up my hierarchy?
We have created the Hierarchy Admin Tool to provide and restrict access to data within your company’s downlines. It is important to ensure privacy within BGA, carriers, agents and clients. Your super user is able to customize and make changes to the hierarchy to adjust for changes within your organization.
Once my hierarchy is set up, can I make changes to it?
Yes, you can make changes to your hierarchy at any time using the Hierarchy Admin Tool.
Can I edit office or agent Information once on NIC?
Yes, you can edit your office or agent information by using the Hierarchy Admin Tool.
How do I add new agents?
All you need to add an Agent is their full name, SSN and email address. Once they are on the system, you can invite them onto the NIC Platform where they will be able to see their in force information.
Can I re-assign offices and/or agents within my hierarchy?
Yes, you can make changes to your hierarchy at any time using the Hierarchy Admin Tool.
Who should I invite to use NIC?
Everyone at your firm will benefit from NIC and there is no additional cost to add users. We encourage you to invite everyone in your firm including your support staff, marketing managers, sales managers, case managers, and office managers. Having your entire network on NIC allows you to easily communicate and share documents within the platform.
When I invite a staff member to NIC, what data do they see?
Each BGA is different and will set up data access depending on the companies customized hierarchy, business units and downlines. For example: A Sales Manager can see the firms, offices, agents and policies under those agents.Staffers (users who do not have a book of business) data access will be dependent on where they get attached to on the hierarchy, determining what they will have the ability to see. The hierarchy can be edited using NIC’s Hierarchy Admin Tool in the NIC app.
Can I integrate e-apps into NIC?
Yes, we can integrate E-Apps into NIC. You can go into your distributor profile, under the resource tab, and add a link to any/all the E-App(s).
Can I single-sing-on into NIC?
Yes, we can set up single-sign-on with your: AMS, CRM, Agent website, etc.
Can I extract my data out of NIC?
Yes, you can extract data into a .CSV file, it is a function available on almost every screen.
Can I integrate my AMS with NIC?
Yes, we can integrate your AMS with NIC.
What browsers does NIC support?
NIC supports: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Can I integrate my forms, tools and other apps with NIC?
Yes, we have a resource section in each profile where you can upload links to forms, tools and agent websites.
Can I integrate my CRM with NIC?
Yes, we can integrate your CRM system with NIC as well as providing single-sign-on and data passing.
